Spears' ex-manager gets extended ban
Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lufti has been notified that he can meet her only after summer. Reports say that a Los Angeles superior court ordered Lufti to stay out of Spears' life for at least another two-and-a-half months.
The restraining order that was enforced against Lufti by Spears' parents in February this year was extended to July 31. Lufti revealed before the hearing that he would not fight the court's decision.

Minogue doesn't want to settle down
Australian pop star Kylie Minogue says she may never settle down and have a family.
According to sources, Minogue battled breast cancer and hopes for a permanent relationship and a family. However, she revealed, "On other days, I think perhaps this is not right for me. I never had the feeling of a conventional marriage. It comes down to how much love you have in you - and if you are ready to give that love."
The 40-year-old denied that she is in a relationship with her ex, Oliver Martinez.

50 Cent to star in independent film
Rapper 50 Cent is in talks to star in an upcoming independent movie titled Spectacular Regret.
The movie's plot revolves around four Los Angeles natives struggling with their past. The rapper is in talks to play a death row inmate who gets media attention even as he faces death by execution.

Wyclef Jean afraid of his daughter
Singer Wyclef Jean is afraid his daughter will laugh at him when she finds out that he can't swim.
Jean loves playing around in the pool with his two-year-old daughter and she is a natural swimmer. But Jean can't swim at all.
He said: "She is like a little mermaid in training. She's like two and she's embarrassing me. She's starting to get it (swimming). I'm still faking it with her in, like, the shallow part. In another year she's going to really find out, 'My daddy can't swim'."

Carey claims she is ordinary
Pop star Mariah Carey has been notorious for being a diva, but she recently indicated that she is simple and makes no demands.
Mirror.co.uk reports that Carey flies with her dog in a private jet, does not travel by public transport and has around 10 bodyguards. She believes her lifestyle is the same as others.
She said: "I sit in hotel rooms with a bunch of humidifiers watching pay-per-view."

Federline splurges money in Las Vegas
Kevin Federline, the estranged husband of pop star Britney Spears, blew more than $50,000 in Las Vegas over just a period of eight months.
Federline spent more than $50,489.71 on hotel rooms and refreshments in Las Vegas in this period. In just one day, Federline spent $2,632.50 at TAO beach and in one wild evening spent $2,862.60 at TAO nightclub.
At another time he paid $3,008.33 at the Hard Rock Beach Club. To top it off, he spent $365 at the Scores Strip club and left a $2,000 tip.

Hatcher to sing on American Idol
Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher will sing on the American Idol charity fundraiser Idol Gives Back next week.
Hatcher will appear on the event along with superstars Bono, Brad Pitt, Annie Lennox, Robin Williams and Kiefer Sutherland. Hatcher will perform Before he cheats by Carrie Underwood with James Denton, her co-star from Desperate Housewives.
The Idol organisers are hoping to raise over $100 million for the charities like Children's Defence Fund, The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis And Malaria, Make It Right and Save The Children.

Spears furious with her family
Troubled pop star Britney Spears, who is admitted in the psychiatric ward of a Los Angeles hospital, was furious after she found out that her father is now the conservator of her estate. TMZ.com reported that Spears lashed out at her family in British accent. She said: "I'm so sick of all of this. They can have the god damn house. Actually, no they can't."
Spears sounded like she was drugged and was upset that her father had been made the conservator of her estate in a court ruling. She added: "Nobody's taking my house. Who is my family?"
Spears said she did not want her parents near her house and vowed to fight them in court. She believes she will be get out of the hospital earlier than doctors say is possible.

Britney's hit was Minogue's castoff
Pop star Kylie Minogue rejected the offer to lend her voice to Toxic, which went on to become a hit after going to Britney Spears who had been keen on it.
Thesun.co.uk quoted Minogue as saying: "I listened to a snippet of it in the record company offices and decided against it. Well, a few of us collectively made that decision.
"When you have a relationship with a top songwriter - as I have with Cathy Dennis who wrote Toxic- then you sometimes get a head start, and I knew that Britney was keen on it. That's cool. I wasn't at all angry when it worked for her. It's like the fish that got away. You just have to accept it."
Toxic is Spears' fourth top-10 single in US and became her number one on the Hot Digital Tracks in 2004.

Pink warns of paparazzi tragedy
American Singer Pink has warned of an imminent tragedy with the paparazzi if they continue to chase celebrities wherever they go.
Contactmusic.com reported that Pink believes something must be done to stop photographers taking pictures of famous people.
Pink, born in Pennsylvania as Alecia Beth Moore, said: "I feel like something tragic is going to have to happen for people to wake up and see how vulture-like (sic) and poisonous it has all become. Before, it was kind of silly, how stupid everyone was. Now it's just kind of sad and dark; it's all gone to a totally different place."

Victoria wanted enhancing outfits for tour
Fashion designer Roberto Cavalli reveals that Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham wanted her outfits for the band's comeback tour to enhance her derriere.
"She wanted to experiment, to surprise and be different. Her only request was that we give her hips," he said.
Dailysnack.com reports that Cavalli also revealed that Geri Halliwell wanted to show off her toned body while Emma Bunton wanted to cover up.
He said: "I met each one on their own so I could get an idea of their personality. I asked them about their bodies, what they wanted to show and hide, and we talked about how they had evolved in the years since they were Spice Girls. Then I let them view my archive and asked them what they wanted."
Cavalli added: "We updated Geri's iconic Union Jack dress into a corseted Swarovski crystal-studded mini dress. Mel B, she was very strong, very assertive. Oh my, she was very hard work. I had to change her outfits twice. She wanted shiny, body-conscious clothes, and animal prints.
"Because Melanie C is the main vocalist, she wanted to be more rock chick than sporty. So for her, more trousers.

Spears angry with mom for writing book
Troubled pop star Britney Spears, who is working on a comeback, is upset with mother Lynne for writing a book about her and now wants pen her side of the story.
Lynne has signed a $1 million deal to pen the book on parenting. Spears wants to write her own memoir at the same time, contactmusic.com reports.
"She is trying to make a quick buck. She says she's not sure if she'll go through with it - but I can't really trust her," Spears reportedly told a friend.
Spears is trying to regain control over her life so that she can get custody of her children who now are with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
She also has a new album out, Blackout, as an attempt at a comeback.
Her lawyers are pleading with her to see a psychiatrist because they think she is "in denial" in the custody battle for her kids.
The lawyers are afraid she is not able to realise that she could lose her two sons in the custody battle with her ex Kevin Federline who now has temporary custody, thesun.co.uk reported.
"They fear that she isn't really worried about the battle. She believes the court is biased in Kevin's favour and is furious she has to undergo drug testing while he doesn't - so she won't play ball. But Britney won't listen and said she doesn't need a shrink," said a source.
This latest custody hearing heard Spears had missed drug tests as she doesn't like rising early.
